Typically, the term physical damage insurance consists of two types of coverages that protect a vehicle.
With collision coverage, your vehicle is protected in case of an accident. If it rolls, overturns, or collides with another object, your repair or replacement expenses will be covered.
Comprehensive insurance covers everything except damage in the case of collision with another object or vehicle. The following can be covered by comprehensive truck insurance:
Damage in the case of a civil disturbance (such as a riot), and more
All vehicle owners should invest in physical damage insurance coverage. This is especially true for businesses that depend on their fleet to keep things running, such as those in the trucking industry.
In case of any type of damage done to your commercial vehicles or trailers, your business won’t have to suffer financial loss in repairing or replacing them.

Is there anything NOT covered by comprehensive insurance?
Even though comprehensive auto insurance is, indeed, comprehensive, it does not cover the following:
● Damage to the covered vehicle from a collision (this is covered by collision insurance)
● Damage to another person’s vehicle from a collision (this is covered by commercial auto liability insurance)
● Anyone’s medical expenses after an accident
How can I choose the right deductible for me?
Generally speaking, if you select a higher deductible, you will have a lower premium on your insurance policy and vice versa.
Your insurance agent can help you determine the right deductible for your particular needs.
